Sprinkling System

I'm guessing as Wade is getting older he is finally realizing that having things more simplified is a good thing. Or, maybe he is finally giving in to his wife's sweet persuading that convenience is a good thing. Either way last week we had a sprinkling system installed in our yard. It was painless and only took two days and a few thousand dolalrs (that's what was painful for Wade). Now that Wade is working less and is home more he won't have to water the lawn every day like he has for the last 19 years. Now, we can go play more without worrying about the grass going brown. After the crew left, when it was all done, we played with the timers. I am sure the neighbors thought we were completely crazy. It was a new toy that had to be explored. It worked great and we have not had to turn it on since.

Our neighbors have had a few friends in there yard the last week or so. There have normally been two of them sitting in their front yard as content as can be. Tuesday when I arrived home from work one of them had wandered over to our yard. I guess to try it out. It was so content sitting in the middle of the front yard on our grass. I sat and watched it for a while. When it finally dawned on me to take a picture the duck had decided it did not like our yard as well and had started across the street back to the neighbors where it can really relax and enjoy the yard. This morning as I am posting I can hear the ducks talking to each other.
