The best part of Christmas is having family around. Having Travis home made it even that much better. He enjoyed not having to leave the house. Everyone came to us this year. The Petersen breakfast in the morning and then the Leatham dinner in the evening. All day long the house was filled with family, food and visiting. We had Braidyn for a few hours and Kyle was even here most of the day. Next year we will have at least 3 new baby girls join the family but Max and Sam will be in Chile. Those that live out of state and those who have other family obligations are greatly missed.
I always feel that Christmas comes and goes so quickly that we don't take enough time to think about the true reason we celebrate the season. Monday night at our dinner we read the Christmas story from the bible and had Hadley help. Those are things I need to do more often during this busy season.
