Travis is home. He returned home on November 19, 2012. Short story, he was supposed to arrive home on November 6, 2012 but stayed for two more weeks because, he could. As much as he enjoyed staying and wanted to, I wanted him home. Selfish reasons, but I did. He is very glad that he stayed, and ultimately so I am.
We have the best family. It showed with all the family that was at the airport waiting for him to come. My pictures are all fuzzy but at this point there is nothing I can do about it. I did steal a picture from my nieces blog and should have copied all she had. Hers were not fuzzy.

Molly and Jack waiting patiently
Nick and Richie waiting not so patiently. Nick came to our house and rode with us to the airport. He was so excited he was pacing. Made me really anxious.

First glimpse of Travis and Elder Oakman. I made Wade stand right by the escalator so I could see him as soon as he could be seen. It was such a great feeling knowing he was home safe and sound.

So happy to see him.
I have tried to keep Travis busy that last few days. He had a Doctors appointment which meant a blood draw and some other tests. Travis was not happy about this at all but survived. Cleaned out his closet to see what fit and what did not. Visited with the Stake President so he could be released. Went shopping for new clothes and some other essential items he needed. Richie and Nick are like brothers to him so it was important that he go and visit the Baird family last night.
The hardest thing we did on Tuesday was unpack. I thought he was a pack rat when he left, he still is one. The suitcase was full of stuff, only a few clothes. He either left them for others or threw them away in Taiwan. Because of all the stuff in his suitcase it meant we had to find places to put it. He already has several boxes to go through of "stuff" he had before he left.
Today was the dentist, visiting Grandma Arda, lunch out, grocery store, job applications on line, rearranging his bedroom, visit with the Bishop, and finding more places to put his, you got it, stuff.
It is so good to have him home. I love talking to him about all his experiences. Some are amazing, scary, sad, and funny. He has grown ten times over. He will now begin his next journey in life, wherever that takes him. If anyone knows of any jobs or used cars let us know, he needs both.
