Dear Mom and Dad,
WHAT THE HECK??? I figured Kyle would become a dad when I was on my mission, but man, I didn't actually want it to happen! That's frickin weird. Are they going to keep the baby or put it up for adoption? Man, that is ridiculous. I don't know what I'd tell him, but let him know I'm thinking about him.
My new companion is great, and definitely not Elder Jaramillo. We get along a lot easier, and because of it, its a little harder to be dilligent. Its something I need to keep an eye on. Elder Eliason has a really amazing Chinese accent, and loves talking to people. He makes me feel focused because he is very easily distracted. I have a feeling I'll either gain a lot of responsibility because of this companionship, or waste a lot of time by not being dilligent. I'll go for the first. Either way, he's easy going and easy to get along with.
Jiarong got confirmed! My blood pressure is doing a lot better, I was really stressed because of it. He seems to be doing well, he has changed a lot, and still has a long way to go. Now he has the Atonement of Christ to help him.
Andy? I think its a kid I met on the street a week ago, he sat down with us at the Cultural Center. He's pretty cool, but not as willing to accept the gospel yet. If he's not willing, we won't meet with him too often.
Ah, something of interest...oh, I broke my glasses, and I took them to get fixed, and it was for free! Hurray!
My stomach is great, thanks! Hahaha!
Well, I love you. I don't have a lot to say this week, nothing to crazy going on. We're having a fireside this Saturday, I think I'm playing guitar. That will be exciting. We got our hands on a cello, that was fun taking on a bike through the streets of Taiwan. I really miss going to the temple, I hope I'll move north eventually so I can visit the Taibei Temple.
Talk to you next week.
-Elder Leatham
