St. George and Tuacahn

Last year the four Leatham brothers, their wives and mother headed to St. George for a nice relaxing few days. It was so enjoyable that the group decided to do it again. So, off we headed June 11-13 for St. George. Again it was such an enjoyable trip.

If your in a warm sunny place, of course, the brothers need to golf. That is just what they did during the day. We girls do the relaxing thing. Some got manicures, pedicures and massages. Oh, and shop. That is always a fun thing to do. In fact, three of us even bought the same skirt. We tried to talk Arda into it but did not succeed.

The main reason we go, though some would disagree, is to see the plays at Tuacahn. The plays this year were, Footloose and Annie. I was so looking forward to Footloose. I have always enjoyed the movie and the music. I have to say that I was a little disappointed at the performance. It was good, and worth seeing just not as good as I was hoping. Annie, this one I was not too sure about. It really is not one of my favorites. But, from the first scene it had me. It was excellent! The young girl that was Annie had an amazing voice and talent. All the cast members did so well. I would recommend them both, but especially Annie.

Friday night Arda took us out for dinner. When we were getting our manicures and pedicures we started asking where we could find a good place for a steak dinner. The gals at the salon had several suggestions. One was a place in Leeds, Utah called the Cosmopolitan (www.cosmodining.com/). We decided on that one. If you want a good meal while in St. George you need to go there. Just to warn you it is a little pricey, no, a lot pricey. Hard to find and out of the way, but the food was excellent the desserts better than excellent. Well worth the extra effort. Try it.

All in all the trip was great. We are already talking about next year.

Sounds like you had a great time. It would be fun if we all did something like that.

I am also the worst aunt ever and totally forgot Kyles b-day. 2 days before Paul and I even talked about it and I still forgot, so I need to get his address.
