Dear Mom and Dad,
Sorry about last weeks email! I did send you a letter in the mail with about 30 pictures, did you get it?
Well, this past few weeks have been really good. As I said earlier, we had our first baptism. Xie Guang Hua was baptized by Ye Qi Mao, our recent convert. It was great seeing the fruits of labors, and seeing him progress towards eternal life. He has a lot of challenges we need to help with, we fasted last sunday to help find a way to overcome his family problems and abuse. He's a really good guy.
We have about 2 or 3 investigators who are really solid. We have 7 investigators with baptisms set for 4/23, and had 10 investigators at church. Please pray that they can all progress to baptism.
BTW, if you get an email from an Adam Chen, you can forward it. Haha! He's a really good progressing investigator we have, he wanted my email. So yeah. He's fun.
So, a few days ago, our dryer burned all my garments and white shirts. Well, except for the few. And the dryer is dead. So I ordered some garments and bought some shirts. Sorry. If you'd like, I could use a few extra shortsleeve shirts. Not a big deal. Just asking, have you sent a package? If you do, make sure to use the one they can forward it to my address. I think the postal service. You might have to look into that one.
Its starting to get a little hot over here, I'm actually sweating everyday. I cant wait till summer.
This week will be busy busy. I have zone leader exchanges, zone conference in Gaoxiong, and a grave sweeping activity. Good fun. By the way, our zone leader was just made assistant to the President. Pretty awesome. And Elder Jaramillo is the District Leader.
Well, I love you. The kitchen looks so different! It looks really nice. I hope you have a great week, and hear from you soon.
Love,
Elder Leatham

Dear Mom and Dad,
Elder Leatham=1 Satan 0.
Xie Guanghua was ordained a member of the church last week. Yes!
Today, I don't have a lot of time to write, sorry. Crazy day. So I'll promise to write more next week.
My toes have healed, so yay! I bought saddle bags for 950 kuai, so not too bad. They're pretty spiffy. I'm having some pics of Taiwan I'm having developed to send you.
I love you, and I'll have some mail for you pretty soon this week or so.
Love,
Elder Leatham
