That is the constant in everyone's life, CHANGE!
Carla left for Peru on June 3 and Travis finished moving into their new place on June 8. Well, not really Travis. Wade, our great neighbors Dennis and Teena and myself moved Travis into his new place on Monday the 8th. Travis was busy taking the LSAT that day. I don't know what we would do without out great neighbors. We have truly been blessed to live where we do. We spent the next few days vacuuming up fur balls in the house.
Wade has been serving on the High Council in our Stake, for the second time, the last couple years. One of his assignments was to be on a district single adult council. This council planned and carried out activities for the single adults 31-45 age group. They have not had a great turn out considering that there were 16 stakes involved in this district and around 5400 on church records that fall into this age group.
Last night there was a meeting for the this district. They announced the formation of a singles ward that would begin Sunday, June 21. It has been in the works for about 2 years and was approved to be formed and begin. Wade has been called as the first counselor in this bishopric. He is excited and apprehensive of this new calling. I am so glad to be married to a man who is worthy and willing to serve where called. I have also been given the assignment to attend and be active in this ward. That part of the calling we are really concerned about. Right now I take Braidyn to church with me each Sunday. It's important to us that he gets that foundation in his life. I know we can figure it out and make it work.
