Dear Mom and Dad,
Well, this letter might be short, but I'll answer your questions!
First off, you have to promise not to be mad.
Because of convenience to the
mission, I decided to extend for two weeks. So I will be returning on
November 19th. I realize it may cause some inconveniences for you, my
homecoming talk, doctor's appointments, and other things will need to be
rescheduled. I have permission to enroll my classes from Pres.
Bishop. But the website says I can't enroll until November 26th as it is. So I don't know. Anyways, sorry about the inconvenience.
I'm really excited to have two
extra weeks to serve the Lord. When I decided, I felt at least 30%
trunky. I'll also be going home with my MTC group, Elders Mohr and
Oakman. That'll be more memorable.
Go ahead and send the ballot to the mission home. I live in Taizhong, so it will be here soon.
The kidney tests went well. My feet are swelling because of injury, but they're a lot better. No kidney problems.
Our September goal went well.
The mission talked to over 110,000 people, so we passed our goal of
100,000 by a good number. Its helped a lot with our key indicators, the
mission currently has 30 investigators who plan on being baptized next
week alone. That's really good.
Sorry my letter is short this week, I was looking at some registration dongxi. I love you, and I hope you have a great week!
-Elder Leatham
