December 4, 2011 Email

Dear Mom and Dad,
Here's an interesting story. I went to dinner at my bishop's house last night, Bishop Pan served as a missionary in Taibei. As I was looking through his photos, I found a photo with his district leader, Elder Winder. Bishop Pan was very happy to know that Elder Winder was now Mayor Winder. I didn't have the heart to tell him that he was being sued.
Well, Brother Qiu, or Jeff, was baptized on wednesday. He's doing really well, he makes friends really quickly, so the ward really likes him. Brother Ho is going to have to wait a week or two, but he's doing pretty good. I've learned alot about patience and humility while helping him.
Today is move call! I am not moving! Elder Wang is not moving! Everyone else in my district is moving! Yeah, that's about it. I'm excited to be here another six weeks with Elder Wang, we're starting to get used to each other, and we're learning how to work well together. Our teaching has greatly improved the past month! My characters have gotten a lot better, I can read Gospel Principles during Sunday School and follow most of it. It makes me feel weird to actually understand it.
Ohhh, I bought you guys Christmas gifts! No, no, no, no need to thank me. You'll get it in the mail.
I still have enough medication for a few months, so if you just send it with the Christmas stuff, that'll be fine. Hey, maybe you could do me a favor or two...if you'd like to send Christmas music, that'd be great. We've decided to only listen to Christmas music, but regretfully, we only have 2 CDs of Christmas music. The other, maybe you could send me my Chanter pipe and, if you can, a book on how to play it. Maybe you could find instructions online or something. Anyways, I've been thinking about that, I'd really like to pick up Bagpipes when I get home.
It is starting to get cold over here in Taiwan. Its been windy and rainy all week, its probably been in about the 50's, but because we have 100% humidity, it feels way cold! So I've been wearing sweaters as of lately. I feel pretty wimpy, when I move back to America, I'll be in trouble. I've really started getting used to Taiwan, the only place that makes me feel like my abilities are inadiquate is the post office.
Sorry, I don't have a lot to write this week. But I have something to show you!
貝恆恩
This is Braidyn's Chinese name. Thank you Elder Wang.
Love you!
