Travis Mission Call

I have saved the best for last. Travis has been working on his mission papers and was finally able to get everything turned in to church headquarters on August 8, 2010. All but the medical information is done electronically.

The waiting seemed to last forever when really it only lasted 10 days. Travis received his mission call on August 18, 2010. He had invited his friend, Josh, to be there also. He was teasing us that he was going to go into another room and read his call and then come let us know. We are so glad that he allowed us to watch him read it. It was priceless to watch his face. Travis was called to the Tawain, Taichung Mission. He will enter the Mission Training Center on November 17, 2010.

We are so proud of him and his decision to serve the Lord on a mission. He will be a great missionary. Of this we have no doubt. Now the fun begins by trying to get him ready.
