Mom's birthday was the 18th of September. I know, most everyone who reads my blog already knows that. LeeAnn decided to have a celebration on that day in honor of mom. Haley reminded us all that Dad's birthday is on the 16th so we should celebrate them both. Great Idea! LeeAnn put it together with cake and ice cream, decorations, and a little quiz to see how much we really knew about them. Some of our memories differ while other memories everyone remebers the same. Karl had brought up pictures that we had taken from mom's house and that brought back so many more memories. It was a great night. Thanks LeeAnn for doing that. When we got home that night I had a voice mail from Diane Kilburn. She just wanted to let me know she had been thinking about mom and wanted to wish a happy birthday to her also. Mom was a great lady! I can't believe she has almost been gone a year. Times goes by to quickly.

It was such a fun night. I really think we need to do it every year and just start a tradition and make our little "family reunion" what do you think. Love ya
