New Car

The Explorer has been on its last leg for quite a while. But, we were determined to try and make it last for at least another year. That didn't happen. No, the Explorer still worked, we just changed our mind on the time frame. Thanks to the government for the "cash for clunkers" we decided it was worth getting a car now instead of waiting. The Explorer was only worth about $1000. A big enough difference for us to utilize the government $4500 incentive.
We did it. We had alread decided months ago which car we wanted to get so it was pretty easy. We bought a Subaru Forester. Wade and I had even decided on the color months ago, Sage Green. We found a Subaru dealer who had the sage green with the features we wanted (plus some that we were not looking for) and we were sold. The price was right, the incentive was great, and we drove home on Friday, July 31 with a new car. It sat in the garage all weekend. Travis sat in it but has not driven it yet. Soon I am sure he will get to drive it.

Oh man... that's what our plan was. Until we figured out my old little subaru still get's good gas mileage. So... our forester has to wait a while more.
