Graduation!

Like the Shoes!
Friday June 5, 2009 Travis William Leatham graduation from Hunter High School. The commencement exercises were held at the "E" center in West Valley.
I can remember going to my nieces graduation also at the "E" center. It was pretty much the same as several years ago. They had inflated objects being tossed around, so did last nights. It was terribly noisy and hard to hear, and so was last nights. It was very crowded, so was last nights. I have never had to wait for the graduate before but last night we waited and waited and waited and waited for T to finally appear. After several text messages, about where he was and where we were, we finally connected and were able to head for home.
Last night Travis had great support from family. Wade and I, of course. Then, Grandma L, Karl, Willie, Haley, James, LeeAnn and Kim. We have a great family and so much appreciate the support they show.
Before graduation Wade, Travis, Grandma and myself went to dinner at Christopher's. It was delicious. Christopher was T's second choice. His first choice was to go to the stake house at Little America. Unfortunately, they do not open for dinner until five and that was not enough time. After graduation T wanted to have everyone come over for pie. He is a pie man.
T attended a party at a friends home. We found out that they were going to hike Ensign Peak and watch the sun rise. As a parent we objected telling he and his friend not a good idea. But, of course, they did it anyway. He returned home this morning at 8.
We are very proud of him and now he will start preparing for his trip to Japan and then to start school at the U in the fall. Way to go T.The band and Concert Choir Performed! Richie, Josh and T.
All Over!
